About the church
The Good Shepherd community grew from a small prayer group that used to meet in a rented hall on the edge of the city. Today we are more than four hundred families, and we remain the same at heart: a place where everyone is known by name.
What we live by
Our week rests on three things — shared prayer, learning, and works of mercy. Services are held daily, the Bible study group meets Wednesday evening, and Saturday brings Sunday school for children and catechesis for adults. Every Thursday the community kitchen prepares lunches for those going through a hard time.
Who comes to us
Families with small children, students from the nearby university, older parishioners, displaced people who found a temporary home in Lviv. We don’t ask how long you’ve been praying — we ask whether you have someone to talk to.
How to join
The simplest way is to come to the 10:00 Sunday Liturgy and stay for coffee in the parish hall afterward. There is always one of the clergy there to answer questions and show you around. You can also write to us — we reply within the day.
