Prayer for Ukraine

O Great and All-powerful God! We, Your sinful children, come to You in the humility of our hearts and bow our heads. Father, forgive our sins, and the sins of our fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers — accept now, we beg You, our sincere prayer and thanksgiving for Your boundless mercy toward us. Hear our supplications and receive the pleas of our weary hearts; bless our Homeland, Ukraine, grant her freedom and happiness.

Most Merciful Lord, grant Your grace to all who turn to You with supplication. We beg You, good God, for our brothers and sisters who are in exile, in prisons, at hard labor, suffering and tormented.

For widows, for orphans, for the disabled and the infirm, for those who have grown weak and wavered in faith, and for those in need of Your mercy and Your help. Unite us all into one great family of Christ, that all people on the free Ukrainian land may glorify Your great name. Great and Almighty God, into Your hands we commit our fate and the fate of our fatherland.

We believe that You will give us, and Your holy Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a better fate, happiness, and freedom. And our Ukraine, illumined by Your mercy, will glorify You always, now and forever and unto ages of ages.

AMEN
