Gratitude as a way of seeing

Ten were healed. One came back. The rest received the very same gift — and went on their way.

Gratitude adds nothing to the gift. It adds something to the person: it teaches you to notice that the good in life isn’t to be taken for granted.

An exercise

Every evening for a week, name three things out loud you’re grateful for that day. The hard part is not repeating yourself — that’s exactly the point.

Church of the Good Shepherd

We are the Good Shepherd community in Lviv. Our church doors are open every day — for shared prayer, for a quiet conversation, for a cup of tea after Sunday Liturgy. We welcome those who have been coming their whole lives and those crossing the threshold for the first time.
